Sports Luncheon Report
Marines' Memorial Club, San Francisco
February 18, 2010

Seventy PTA members and guests attended the Annual Sports Luncheon,
held this year on February 18, 2010, at the Marines' Memorial Club in San Francisco.

Our speaker was San Francisco Giants Managing General Partner
and CEO, Bill Neukom. The Giants had an outstanding season in 2009, with 88
wins, and battled for a playoff spot until late September. Bill said that
the team's prospects this year are favorable, from the outstanding starting
pitching, bullpen, and closer, to the improved offense, defense, and base
running. The Giants’ farm system had tremendous success last year, with a
combined .603 winning percentage by 11 minor league teams. With many
talented players coming up, 2010 promises to be another exciting
season for the Giants and their fans.
